MeteoGroup’s performance rewarded as Vestas increases O&M contract03.10.2011 08:14
Vestas has awarded MeteoGroup the contract for the provision of weather forecasting services for operations and maintenance of over 40 European sites. The contract follows three years of service provision for individual sites and is testament to the quality of the services supplied.
The contract, which began in June 2011, initially covers 41 sites in the UK and Ireland. In addition to providing 48 hour and seven day forecasts four times per day, MeteoGroup will also supply hub height and severe weather information such as lightning strikes to support Vestas’ operations and maintenance teams.
